Rodriguez Working On Women In Chains!

I don't know about you guys but I love myself some good old women in prison, pure exploitation movies. Today the Hollywood Reporter confirmed a report from AICN that Robert Rodriguez is shopping around a television series called Women In Chains. Now this isn't going to be a run of the mill series though.

The show is said to feature "Sadistic Guards, Cafeteria Hosedowns, Mud Wrestling, and Violent Vendettas". Now how could this get any better? Well Rose McGowan is going to star as one of the five femme fatales in the show. Add a couple more big names to this show and we have a winner.

My hope for the show is that it lands at either HBO or Showtime. That way it won't be a censored and soft version of what we have all come to expect from Women in Prison films. The series was actually conceived and written by Josh Miller and Mark Fortin. Keep it here for more.
