10 Sexiest Vampires in Film

Vampires are erotic creatures that are as beautiful as they are deadly. In this top 10 list I am going to look at the sexiest female vampires to ever grace the big screen. Although none of the Brides of Dracula from Bram Stokers  1897 Novel can make my list they certainly set the standard.

So below in no particular order are what I consider the ten hottest vampires featured in horror films.

Kate Beckinsale in Underworld: Really this one should come as absolutely no surprise and should also be one we can all agree on considering Kate Beckinsale has done for leather what slicing machines have done for bread.

Kate Beckinsale, Underworld 4

Monica Belluci in 1992’s Dracula: Monica Belluci is one of the most beautiful women in the world and has been in quite a few monumental horror films including the highly disturbing and controversial Irreversible.

Ingridd Pitt in 1970’s The Vampire Lovers: Ingrid Pitt passed away in 2010 so this post is also in tribute. RIP Ingridd! She had a very erotic role which featured some vampire nudity in the 70’s Vampire Lovers. In 2009 she wrote about how disappointed the producers were to find out that just because they were producers did not mean they got to be on set for the two girls and a bath tub scene.

Salma Hayek From Dusk Till Dawn: Frankly this would be number one on my list if I was numbering them. Salma Hayek is a woman that I have written into a contract that I would sell my soul to satan to have as my partner. She is intelligent, talented and did I mention incredibly sexy?

Anna Parillaud in Innocent Blood: You can never go wrong with a mob movie turned vampire tale. Anna Parillaud plays Marie a vampire who loves sex and blood ( imagine that ). She finds herself caught up in an odd romance when she turns a Mafia man into a vampire and ends up in a relationship with the cop trying to put the made man away.

Aaliyah in Queen of the Damned: Interview With a Vampire is a great film and the sequel Queen of the Damned for me was one of the worst vampire movies I have seen. That said the late great Aaliyah ( R.I.P ) was stunning as the Queen Akasha, Queen of the Damned

Jenny Wright in Near Dark: I am going to get myself into all kinds of trouble and say that Near Dark was a darker grittier Twilight movie of the 80’s. Its Teen love, its got vampires and it even has some corny riffs. That said unlike Twilight its brutal, passionate and one of the best vampire movies ever made. ( Sorry Twilight fans don’t hate on me to much ). Jenny Wright did a great job co-starring as the vampire love interest.

Angie Everhart as a Vampire Hooker in Bordello of Blood: I can honestly say that as cheesy as Bordello of Blood is its one of my favourite campy vampire movies. Where can you go wrong with a movie that stars Dennis Miller? Ok that could go horribly wrong but at least we got Angie Everhart!

Sheryl Lee in John Carpenters Vampires: I will admit I am not sure why I like Vampires so much but it continues to be one of my favourite action-horror films about vampires. Sure its corny and at points beyond stupid but its still a fun little romp through 90’s vampire lore. Sheryl Lee stars as a lady of the night who gets the wrong kind of loving and ends up being turned into a vampire.

Rhona Mitra in Underworld: Originally I was not going to include Rhona Mitra on this list since we already had Kate Beckinsale but I have had a crush on Rhona since she kicked ass all over the big screen in Neil Marshall’s Doomsday. She also did an outstanding job looking hot in leather in Underworld 3. She won’t be back for Underworld 4 but who am I to complain since Kate will take her tights back to kick some lycan ass.

I know it’s not a movie, but Deborah Ann Woll from HBO’s True Blood (Baby vamp Jessica) should definitely be on this list as well.

I think the sexist scene in a vampire film is the one with Chris Sarandon and  Amanda Bearse by the fireplace in the original Fright Night (1985)

      9. Louis Kiss March 25, 2012 at 3:37 am

        Anulka from VAMPYRES (1974)

      11. MDaly March 25, 2012 at 3:49 pm

I have to say Kyle Schmid as Henry Fitzroy in Blood Ties.  He has also just finished a role as another vampire named Henry in the North American Version of Being Human.  He’s pretty darned sexy in both roles.
