Silent Hill 2 Resuming Shooting, Schedule & Cast

Once again our readers deliver with more updates on the shooting of Silent Hill 2. Yesterday we told you from one of our readers that shooting had been disrupted by a freak winter snow storm that blanketed the entire street set in snow. Today from local reader Kassie comes word that shooting is ready to commence tonight and she also includes what cast are on set shooting. She writes;

I’m writing with information from the Cambridge location set for the Silent Hill: Revelations film. Filming will resume today from 7 to 11 pm, and pick up at 6 am to 7 am on Friday. Confirmed on set is Adelaide Clemmens (playing Heather Mason) and Kit Harington (playing Vincent Carter, I confirmed this by looking over a call list on set), and it has been confirmed that they are filming a key scene (I believe somewhere towards the end of the movie).

Tks to Kassie and all the other locals in Cambridge Ontario Canada who are feeding us a steady stream of updates for the film. As always if you have a scoop email it to us at scoops@horror-movies.ca or simply leave a comment for us. Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, based on the acclaimed survival horror videogame franchise by KONAMI , is a sequel to Hadida and Carmody’s earlier collaboration, Christophe Gans’ Silent Hill.

For years, Heather Mason and her father have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.

        I live in Cambridge and it was awesome seeing our Main street looking like it had been abandoned, with cars thrown a skew, it was really neat! Can’t wait for the movie!

        I enjoyed the first movie, but the overly gorey ending disappointed me. I felt it was so much out of place with all the suspense and creepiness during the rest of the film, and I felt that they had rushed through filming that scene. However, I think I’ll probably give this one a viewing.

         okay, so that picture looks totally creeped out… except for the defused lighting which makes the character light up and pop like a video game… unfortunately 97% of all hollywood horror movies use the same stupid lighting they would use on an action movie, and if they spent just a little time working with an artist that specializes in balck and white and shadowing, we would have a very different mood,  in most decent horror flicks…..yeah, keep playing it safe guys. lol
