Director of ‘Shadow’ Talks New Film

Chris Savage

Federico Zampaglione’s first horror film Shadow is one I must see as it sounds and looks awesome (Meh’s Shadow review), luckily for you guys in the States Shadow is available on demand and DVD, soon heading to UK shores on April 29th.

Anyway it looks like Zampaglione is already moving onto a new project in which he is collaborating with a veteran of spaghetti splatter.

Recently Fangoria spoke with Federico Zampaglione and he revealed to them that his next project would be titled Tulpa which has been scripted by Dardano Sacchetti. The guy has had an illustrious career either writing or co-writing such classics as A Bay of Blood, Cat o’ Nine Tails, The Beyond and City of the Living Dead.

Zampaglione describes the new film as “a very bloody and tense Italian thriller with some supernatural elements… sometimes tulpa goes the wrong way and turns into an evil presence…which then wants to kill its creator. It’s mysterious and creepy stuff.”

Tulpa is said to begin shooting soon in Rome and North Africa.
