Writer/actor Leigh Whannell has conjured up some money making films, the Saw franchise has become the highest grossing and with Insidious currently do very well in the box-office racking in around $13 million in its opening weekend from a film that was made from a reported $1.5 million.
So what could Whannell have up his sleeve this time? Well recently Bleeding-Cool caught up with Whannell in which he announced his next project;
“I actually just wrote a comedy about a zombie virus that breaks out in a primary school but only effects people who haven’t been through puberty.
There’s all these eight or nine year olds running around and the teachers are holed up inside the school. And the titles of the film is…? Cooties. That’s just an out and out comedy.”
This just sounds like a winner already, pre-puberty kids becoming zombies holding up a school, I say bring it on.
