Juan Carlos Fresnadillo to Direct Crow Remake

Chris Savage

The proposed Crow remake has never been an easy ride, we have had directors attached and then pull out we even had some crazy casting rumors but they never fell through. So would The Crow remake ever get made?

Well it looks like the film is going full steam ahead, now that’s either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your opinion on the remake. So according to STYD Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) has officially signed on to direct the remake of the 1994 film The Crow.

Relativity Media will be producing the remake which is set for a production start this fall. Fresnadillo is said to collaborate with the yet to be confirmed writer.

Also the remake is confirmed to focus on the character of Eric Draven who was of course played by the late Brandon Lee.

Stay tuned for casting news and the announcement of the writer but as this has always been a troubled film to get going, perhaps this could all just fall through.
