If you don’t live in the UK, Scotland and Ireland chances are you probably don’t have a clue who or what B&Q is, well, B&Q is a hardware store for all your DIY needs. I guess similar to the American store Home Depot but I’m going on a limb there.
Anyway B&Q have created a viral marketing campaign with the strapline “DIY doesn’t have to be scary”. The small viral clips spoof or pay homage to such classics as Poltergeist, The Shinning and Psycho. Personally, I would have loved to have seen a Texas Chainsaw Massacre one or perhaps a Driller Killer viral maybe throw in some Toolbox Murders. I think they dropped the ball in that sense but that’s just my opinion.
