While we wait for some actual concrete news on the proposed remake of Child’s Play, it looks as if Chucky will be getting the video game treatment. Soon we will be able to control a serial killing doll in a stealth like action romp.
According to the guys over at GameSpy Universal and TikGames will be releasing the officially licensed Child’s Play game sometime this fall. While playing as Chucky you will use his “full repertoire of stealth and guile to dispatch victims in a multitude of distinctive methods.”
The game is said to be sticking to the true nature of the film franchise, but I guess we will just have to wait and see as video games based on movies, more often than not miss the mark.
The Child’s Play game is being developed as a downloadable title for PC’s and consoles, hopefully more details will be released soon.
