Oren Peli Takes on Nature

Oren Peli who directed Paranormal Activity and his upcoming film Area 51 for Paramount has since been more focused on producing films along with his production company Haunted Films which produced the highly successful Insidious.

But, it looks as if Peli will once again step behind the camera for another stab at the horror genre. According to Screen Daily, Oren Peli is working on an untitled horror project for Glen Basner’s newly launched FilmNation.

Details at the moment are scant but Peli did reveal that; “the tale of friends who discover they are not alone after they become stranded in a ghost town overrun by nature.”

Peli also said; “…rest assured it will be scary as hell,”

Also former Paramount evp Brian Witten will be co-producing the yet to be titled film. Witten is also working on The Blob remake which Rob Zombie has since dropped.
