The Zombie Years: Thanks Grandpa – Zombie Short

This is one of the best zombie shorts I have seen… Ever! The film is of great quality and is beautifully shot, some truly wonderful shots were captured. Now this may not be new to some of you, that is if you have followed the web-comic Zombie Years.

This is a vignette prequel based on one of the main characters in the comic, Delilah “Del” Esuinosa and with much thanks to our friends over at QuietEarth for hunting this one down, you can watch it in it’s entirety below.

Synopsis: “THANKS GRANDPA” is a short film that takes place in a post-apocalyptic Miami Florida overrun by the living dead. When all that exists is death, it takes more than survival to understand life, and we see Delilah “Del” Esquinosa go about this in her own way, from finding a new companion… to keeping old ones. What is family, friends, or even life itself when faced with the dead who won’t DIE?
