Chris Gorak’s upcoming alien invasion flick The Darkest Hour has recently unleashed a trailer. The film follows a group of tourists who venture to Moscow for what they believe will be a trip of a life time. Unknowing to them, aliens have invaded Russia.
The film stars Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella and Rachael Taylor.
Synopsis: “The DARKEST HOUR is the story of five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack. The 3D thriller highlights the classic beauty of Moscow alongside mind-blowing special effects.”
The Darkest Hour hits theatres via Summit Entertainment on December 23, 2011.

unfortunately it looks like the big summer hollywood craporama blockbuster has made it’s way into the sights of the Directors on the other side of the pond… *sigh* I hope this doesn’t start a trend… shitty summer movies are a plenty over here in the States, we don’t need some of the better foreign directors wasting their time on them too.
