Comic Book Flick The Vault Optioned

It looks as if another strip from Image Comics will be hitting the big-screen, anyone familiar with the upcoming comic book The Vault?

Well, according to The Hollywood Reporter GK Films has picked up the film rights to The Vault, the comic book written by Sam Sarkar who is an executive at Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil production company.

“Written by Sarkar and drawn by Garrie Gastonny, the underwater sci-fi story centers on a group of divers who, off the coast of Nov Scotia, uncover a sarcophagus with unusual remains and inadvertently unleash an ancient evil.”

The Vault is a three issue mini-series which is said to hit stores this week, for more information on the comic book check out their official Facebook page.
