Universal’s R.I.P.D. is casting up like crazy, just a few days ago, Goon, gave us the news that, super model, Marisa Miller had climbed aboard the film as, Jeff Bridges’ avatar.

So, The Hollywood Reporter has recently received word that, James Hong, the legend, has climbed aboard the film as “Grandpa Chen,” Reynolds’ avatar, the form humans see when Reynolds’ character goes about his business.” Hong is definitely no stranger to us, having starred in such classics as, Blade Runner & Big Trouble in Little China.

The story centers on a murdered cop (Reynolds) who is recruited to work in the Rest in Peace Department, a police force comprised of ghosts who battle spirits unready to depart this world.

I am so up for this one, lets see how they pull it off. Anyway, Hong joins the previously announced cast of Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, Stephanie Szostak Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges. Robert Schwentke is on directorial duties.
