Locke & Key Heading To MTV?

Chris Savage

Unfortunately there is nothing set or even negotiations taken place, possibly just a lot of wishful thinking and what if’s, but none-the-less, Deadline is reporting that, Joe Hill’s Locke & Key could end up at MTV.

The series adaptation has been shopped around almost everywhere, at one time SyFy was interested but they turned it down so 20th Century Fox pulled the plug on the project.

Then, IDW, the publisher of the comic set up a screening of the pilot at Comic-Con in July. Soon, a trailer was released and leaked online and then a DVD of the pilot made its way to MTV’s David Janollari, who is the programming chief , this is where Deadline have heard that he liked what he seen.

But no meetings have taken place prior to this and the site is reporting that the budget may not be suitable for MTV programming, so who knows where this one will be heading, just seems like a lot of speculation at the moment. Anyway, check out the trailer below and see if it is something you could see yourself watching on a regular basis?
