Terminator 5 Release Date, Director Leaves!

Chris Savage

I wasn’t expecting to hear this and I thought it would be interesting to see just what, Justin Lin could bring to the franchise but it looks due to prior commitments he has had to walk away from The Terminator.

According to Deadline, things on The Terminator front are really starting to move, so much in fact that Megan Ellison and Arnold Schwarzenegger plan to put the first of two Terminator pictures into production by 2012, in doing so, it has forced, Lin to leave the project.

However, Lin has left the door open if Ellison and Schwarzenegger are willing to wait until he has completed the sixth Fast and Furious film. Stay tuned for more as this story evolves.

As good as Justin Lin would be I’d prefer Stallone take the reigns, He seems to be the last person making true action movies Rambo was amazing and The Expendables was awesome. Those two movies more than any others in years did the action genre justice. I know this will never happen but I can dream right.

Why do they still have to make more Terminator films. Leave the franchise alone. The first to are excellent films which have been tainted by their two sequels.
