#15 – Dance of the Dead
I just recently watched this one and honestly still need to finish it. I haven’t completed it but that was more due to time then the movie. Its a really fun teen-comedy with zombies and one that fans of films like Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead will enjoy. On the night of the big High-School Prom, the dead rise to eat the living, and the only people who can stop them are the losers who couldn’t get dates to the dance.
#14 – Session 9
Alot of you in our community have told me over and over again I need to see Session 9 but to this date I still have not. Perhaps this Halloween I will finally make it happen. It is directed by Brad Anderson who might be most famous for directing The Machinist starring Christian Bale. Tensions rise within an asbestos cleaning crew as they work in an abandoned mental hospital with a horrific past that seems to be coming back.
#13 – Basket Case
1982′s Basket Case is a horror comedy that die hard horror fans rave about. A young man carrying a big basket that contains his deformed Siamese-twin brother seeks vengeance on the doctors who separated them against their will.
#12 – Frozen
Adam Green is best known for Hatchet but for me its the worst film he has made. He also made SPIRAL which is so damn good it blew my mind that this was the same guy who did Hatchet. Spiral is as good as Hitchcock! Adam Green’s followup thriller FROZEN is for me also a fantastic thrill ride. Admittedly though if you loved HATCHET its likely you will hate the slow drama of FROZEN which I loved so much.
Released in 2010 its about three skiers who are stranded on a chairlift and forced to make life-or-death choices that prove more perilous than staying put and freezing to death
#11 – Dead Snow
Dead Snow has appeared on more Top Lists on our site then possibly any other film. This foreign horror comedy that features Nazi’s, Zombies, the mountains and unwitting students is a master piece. Released in 2009 Dead Snow is about a ski vacation that turns horrific for a group of medical students, as they find themselves confronted by an unimaginable menace: Nazi zombies.
#10 – Clive Barkers Night Breed
Night Breed is one of those movies that needs to be seen as monsters become victims and a regular dude becomes hero to the scariest creations you can imagine. A community of mutant outcasts of varying types and abilities attempts to escape the attention of a psychotic serial killer and redneck vigilantes with the help of a brooding young man who discovers them. Night Breed is based on the novel “Cabal” by Clive Barker

U forgot sisters, and the alltime classic the shining…..u should start featuring more italian horror on this site…..just a suggestion
Finally, someone who agrees with me about Hatchet.
Hey, nice list! AHHH zombies (i knew it by the title ”wasting away” is great and unknown too.
But i think the video you have for it is totally irrelevant to the movie.
I’ve seen all of these except for Ahhh zombies (can’t find it) and Doghouse (on my list) are these really all considered ‘unknown’ ?
whoops !! I did see ahhh zombies (called wasting away) THIS IS NOT A TRAILER FOR WASTING AWAY (AHHH ZOMBIES)
This is a FAKE movie trailer for a movie that doesn’t even exist.
FFS, man, have YOU even seen these movie? WTF? Replace that damned fake trailer please. The whole reason I thought I hadn’t seen it, is because I watched that trailer, then come to find it it’s a FAKE. Which whoever made it should do a movie though.
