Lidell Entertainment Picks Up The Collection

Chris Savage 1 Comment Movie Page: The Collection

Lidell Entertainment Picks Up The CollectionI was actually quite shocked when I watched The Collector. I wasn’t expecting much, but I did enjoy it. It wasn’t amazing but it was enough for me to want to see some more and now we have some details as to who will be distributing Marcus Dunstan’s The Collection.

According to Dread Central, Lidell Entertainment is currently launching a new theatrical distribution shingle, LD Distribution, and David Dinerstein is said to be spearheading the distribution outfit.

Among the slew of films recently acquired by the outfit, Marcus Dunstan’s The Collection will be among them and is said to be in post-production. No word on a release date, but hopefully soon. Especially an official poster or maybe a trailer?

The film stars Josh Stewart, Johnny Yong Bosch, Emma Fitzpatrick, Shannon Kane, Tim Griffin, William Peltz, Eaddy Mays, Michael Nardelli, Justin Mortelliti, Michael H. Cole, Arloa Reston and Courtney Lauren Cumming.

Synopsis: “Instead of recovering from the trauma, Arkin is suddenly abducted from the hospital by mercenaries hired by Elena’s (who was kidnapped in the first film) wealthy father. Arkin is blackmailed to team up with the mercenaries and track down The Collector’s booby trapped hide out and save Elena from his sadistic rituals.”

They changed the actor portraying the collector….I hate when they do that.  Always diminishes any film. Was very surprised(happily) by the first film. Hell if your going to change actors you sure as hell don’t do it to one of only two main characters.
