Liv Tyler Experiences Ti West’s Side Effects

Ti West is certainly a director you need to keep your eye on. This guys has been doing some truly awesome work. Later this year, West will be making his way to Sundance to debut V/H/S, the found footage horror film he co-directed.

But what’s on the cards for the future? Well, according to Deadline, Ti West will be writing and directing the thriller entitled The Side Effect which has Liv Tyler set to star in the film.

“Tyler will play Catherine Rigby, a woman who spends several months alone in space as an experimental subject for a global pharmaceutical company, and finds herself inexplicably pregnant. Paranoia and hysteria reign as the truth behind conception grows more elusive and she remains stranded in space.”

Tyler called West “a super-talented exciting young filmmaker. The role of Rigby is a fantastic character within a great thriller and I am looking forward to sinking my teeth into the part.”

West also mentioned, that while this is still to his horror roots, The Side Effect deals with the psychological efforts.

Either way, more stuff from this guy is always a good thing. I can’t wait to hear more.
