Nicolas Cage Has An Idea For The Wicker Man 2

We all know how the remake of The Wicker Man turned out, it was pretty dire but I’m thinking I may need to revisit it once again. Is it one of those films where it is so bad its good or just plain bad? Either way, the man himself, Nicolas Cage has an interesting idea for The Wicker Man 2.
While promoting his latest film Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Nicolas Cage joined Empire for a web-chat where he answered the readers questions, one involved talk of a sequel to The Wicker Man:
“I would like to hook up with one of the great Japanese filmmakers, like the master that made Ringu, and I would like to take The Wicker Man to Japan, except this time he’s a ghost.”
Of course Cage is joking here but wouldn’t you want to see it for its totally insane premise? I mean, they’ve sent Jason & Pinhead to space so maybe this isn’t that ridiculous after all.
