Official Synopsis For Total Recall Remake

Its been actually fairly silent on Len Wisemen’s remake of the 1990 film Total Recall. While I’m extremely skeptical I am also very intrigued to see what type of future world Wiseman has crafted. Synopsis: “Total Recall is an action thriller between reality and memory, inspired again by the story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” of Phiip K. Dick. Welcome to Rekall, the company that can make your dreams come true memories. For Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell), an employee of the company, although a lover of his beautiful wife (Kate Beckinsale), the journey of the mind seems to be the ideal remedy to its real-life frustrating memories as a super- Spy seem perfectly match their needs. But when the process is dead wrong, Quaid becomes a prey. He was sued not the police – controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston), the leader of the free world – Quaid teamed with a rebel fighter (Jessica Biel) to reach the head of the clandestine resistance (Bill Nighy) to stop Cohaagen. The boundary between fantasy and reality becomes blurred and destiny hangs by a thread when Quaid discovers his true identity, his real love and true destiny .”

Judging by the synopsis its a pretty safe bet that Bill Nighy is indeed attached to star in the remake, so he joins Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Bryan Cranston and Jessica Biel.

Look for this one in theatres this August 3rd.
