Paramount & Platinum Dunes Find Their Hauntrepreneur

Here we have another upcoming horror comedy to add to your list, one which is on the way via Paramount Pictures and Platinum Dunes, and their first star to be added to the flick may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

According to Variety, Russell Brand has been cast in The Hauntrepreneur for Paramlunt and Platinum Dunes. This also will be Platinum Dunes first film in theatres since the 2010 remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street.

“The story revolves around a family that has trouble adjusting to a new town and hires a peculiar man who calls himself the Hauntrepreneur to help them. In an attempt to bring them together, the man creates a haunted house filled with an odd cast of characters.”

Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will produce for Platinum Dunes with the focus now on the director.

We first heard about The Hauntrepreneur last year, but it was still early days. Now it appears as if its moving along at a steady pace, stay tuned for more.
