Pontypool Director Ventures Into a Dark Highway

Bruce McDonald, the Canadian director who unleashed Pontypool, which, in my opinion is one of the most original films I have seen in a very long time. Now, we haven’t heard much from McDonald since Pontypool, there was once whispers of a Pontypool 2, but I’m sure that won’t happen and in a way, I hope it won’t.

However, according to The Chronicle Herald, McDonald has a new $2s million project in the works entitled Dark Highway. Not much is known, but the site reports that the film is, “about a man who is being chased but can’t distinguish between reality and imagination.”

Also, McDonald is hoping to confirm Nicolas Cage as the movie’s lead. Stay tuned for more as we get it.
