Could this be the return to form for the Italians? Do we have successors to the truly masterful Dario Argento and Mario Bava? We may just have that as Maurizio & Roberto Del Piccolo’s The Hounds looks as if it is a brutal and disturbing ride, bringing horror back to Italy, and about time too.
