V/H/S Is Too Much For Some Moviegoers

Adam Wingard, David Bruckner, Ti West, Glenn McQuaid, Joe Swanberg, and Radio Silence’s upcoming horror anthology flick V/H/S is clearly too scary for some.

This is the second festival in which a horror film has caused a moviegoer to faint. According to Deadline, V/H/S was playing a midnight screening last night at the Sundance festival where the “guy who passed out–during the first particularly gruesome scene–was embarrassed and didn’t want to leave but was encouraged to by his girlfriend. He returned to meet the film’s directors.”

EMT’s are said ti have been at the scene, but just 20-minutes later another moviegoer was treated for nausea.

Another person fainted at a festival in Toronto where they witnessed the film entitled The Incident,  “One person fainted when one of the cooks was tied to a stove top and burned alive. “

The Incident was then picked up by IFC Midnight following that screening.

“V/H/S is about a group of misfits hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house to acquire a rare VHS tape, and discover more found footage than they bargained for.”

It looks like I’ll be checking out V/H/S in the near future.
