World War Z To Become a Trilogy?

Chris Savage

The last we heard of Marc Forster’s big-screen adaptation of World War Z involved the S.W.A.T confiscating firearms on the set. Even with that set-back, the film is still on the cards and they are working away like beavers. Now we have an interesting tid-bit of news regarding a potential trilogy…

Recently Brad Pitt spoke with the L.A. Times and gave us something to think about.

“MarcĀ Forster and Paramount Pictures each view “World War Z” as a trilogy that would have the grounded, gun-metal realism of, say, Damon’s Jason Bourne series tethered to the unsettling end-times vibe of AMC’sĀ “The Walking Dead.”

As you can see, nothing has been confirmed, but I’m pretty sure we all had a feeling that there wouldn’t be just one World War Z flick.

World War Z hits theatres on December 21, 2012.

Icd rather have one R-rated flick that an adaption of the book demands rather than a crap trilogy of PG-13 flicks. Ive said it many times before but such a rating doesn’t do the gritty, gory and realistic nature of the book justice.
