Justin Kurzel’s Australian film The Snowtown Murders looks extremely chilling and is one that we all need to watch. This mark’s Kurzel’s directorial debut and it looks brilliant but very haunting, and we have the official trailer for it’s U.S. release via IFC Films below.

The Snowtown Murders stars Lucas Pittaway, Daniel Henshall & Louise Harris.

Synopsis: “When 16 year-old Jamie is introduced to a charismatic man, a friendship begins. As the relationship grows so does Jamie’s suspicions, until he finds his world threatened by both his loyalty for, and fear of his newfound father figure, John Bunting: Australia’s most notorious serial killer.”

I saw this in the cinema.Overrated by so called critics like many other films. Stupid artsy shots like lingering on an image of a plastic cup beside a gambling machine comprise of 10 minutes of the film.
