French Trailer For [REC] 3: GenesisThe anticipation for Paco Plaza’s third entry in the [REC] franchise is off the hook, just release the damn thing and stop teasing us. The more I see of [REC] 3: Genesis the more I can’t wait to get my little hands on it, below you will find the latest trailer which is for the French release and it reveals some new footage, check it out.

Synopsis: “The original REC crew are back, ready to submit their ensemble cast to another fight for survival against the zombie infection. This time to the backdrop of an original soundtrack. The new chapter will see the film “open up” by using a more traditional cinematographic style. However, the film’s roots have not been forgotten, and viewers will still be immersed in the action watching certain events unfold through the eye of the video camera. The action in REC 3 GENESIS encompasses the events of the first two films and after the sense of claustrophobia previously experienced.

The action now takes place miles away from the original location and partly in broad daylight, giving the film an entirely fresh yet disturbing new reality. The infection has left the building. In a clever twist that draws together the plots of the first two movies, this third part of the saga also works as a decoder to uncover information hidden in the first two films and leaves the door open for the final installment the future, REC 4 Apocalypse.“

[REC] 3: Genesis hits French theatres this April 4th.

Okay, I am officially FREAKED!!! …. I can’t say enough about the first 2 films, but what I will say is that these films have made an impact on me more so than anything Hollywood has dished out in years… the French have a way of conveying real fear and emotion from actor to the movie watcher while making you forget your watching a movie… I know it’s not just me either, because many people I talk to from fans to people that work in the genre are just as blown away by the series.. Now the waiting game. I have to try and put this out of my mind or I’m gonna explode.lol  They had better not give us some far away release date here in the US either, that’s just torture.

I though the film was Spanish, not French.
