James Wan’s The Conjuring Becomes The Warren Files

It appears as if New Line and director James Wan’s upcoming film The Conjuring will indeed have a name change. It was previously reported that the title would be the Untitled Warren Files Project, but it has been trimmed down to The Warren Files.

According to Variety, the film is casting up youngsters for the film with Mackenzie Foy and Joey King to play members of the true-life Perron family.

“The Perrons claimed they “lived among the dead” in the 1970s as spirits — both friendly and sinister — inhabited their Rhode Island farmhouse. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are playing the investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Lilli Taylor and Ron Livingston will portray the Perrons.”
