Katherine Heigl Becomes Face Blind

Here we have a piece of casting news making it’s way out of Hollywood. While there is no indication to say that Face Blind is a remake, it sounds strikingly like another film, one which starred Milla Jovovich, Faces in the Crowd. Perhaps it is just a coincidence.

Anyway, according to Deadline, Katherine Heigl is attached to star in the indie thriller Face Blind. Maven Pictures’ partners Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray will be producing along with Heigl.

The film has been penned by Dominic Harari and Teresa De Pelegri and currently no director is attached.

Face Blind is “about a psychologist struck with a rare affliction that makes it impossible to distinguish people by their faces. When a man who terrorized her most vulnerable patient stalks her, the psychologist can’t recognize him, and her husband thinks she’s the one who is going crazy.”
