Katherine Heigl vs Puppets in Happytime Murders

As bizarre as this one sounds I’m all for it, the inly problem I have is that it is part comedy, that unfortunately takes the edge off for me. Still, when a flick deals with puppets that are alive, I can’t help but not look away.
According to Variety, Katherine Heigl is currently in final negotiations to star in Brian Henson’s The Happytime Murders.
The film “ takes place in a world where puppets and humans live together, but the puppets are viewed as second-class citizens. When the puppet cast of an 1980s kids TV show gets murdered one by one, a disgraced detective-turned-private eye puppet takes on the case.”
Todd Berger penned the script from a story he wrote with Dee Austin Robertson.
As you may remember, this isn’t the first time Heigl has worked with puppets, she once starred in Bride of Chucky, funny how things turn full circle.
