Live-Action Fan-Made Trailer For Akira

Again, this is why I absolutely love you guys. Our horror community. You don’t need bucket’s of cash, although it would be nice. Just an imagination and a will to make something for the art and not for the $ sign. While we wait for Warner Bros. to sort out their problems with their live-action adaptation of Akira someone has stepped up and has given us a promising trailer.

Akira fan and French filmmaker, Fabien Dubois has created a 43-second live-action trailer for Katsuhiro Otomo’s Akira and it looks really impressive. It utilizes techniques which have been seen in the recent box-office hit Chronicle, and for something fan-made I take my hat off to him. Now I want more, and who knows maybe there will be more, but, in the meantime go check it out below.
