Shiloh Fernandez Enters The Evil Dead Remake

There is one film out there that I’m sure a lot of you just wish would go away, but the fact remains it ain’t going away anytime soon as the Evil Dead remake has just scored another cast member.

According to Variety, Shiloh Fernandez (Red Riding Hood) is set to topline Federico Alvarez’s remake of The Evil Dead.

There is still no word on a female lead at this time since Lily Collins had to exit the production.

Synopsis: “Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead and unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.”

At the moment I’m not all that bothered about a reboot of The Evil Dead, yes it is pointless, but if Bruce Campbell says it is good and he is fully behind it, it is hard for me to look away. I guess the proof is in the pudding, we shall wait and see.
