Warner Bros. Acquires The Waiting

Who’s up for more horror in the style of Paranormal Activity? If you are, then I have a new flick for you guys to keep your eyes on. According to Deadline, Warner Bros. has acquired a script from first time screenwriters Mark Bianculli and Jeff Richard which is entitled The Waiting.

The Waiting is being described as Paranormal Activity meets Rear Window.

“Mysterious events occur in The Waiting when two high school filmmakers decide to create the illusion of a haunting on an unsuspecting neighbor.”

There isn’t much else to go on at this time, and with that whole found-footage style wearing thin I wonder how this will offer anything different. Here’s hoping that this hit’s the right marks as I like the sound of the premise.
