Watch the Trailer for New Thriller ‘Separation’
Written by: Herner Klenthur
I am a big fan of indie horror and a well thought out thriller will always capture my interest. Some of my favorite horror films are low budget thrillers that play out more like a stage play then the classic slasher or blood bath. Three memorable ones are Pontypool, Adam Green’s Spiral and Toby Wilkins SPLINTER.
Director Greg White just sent me the trailer for his new film which you can checkout below. The film was made for under $100,000 and has undertones of The Strangers which I think alot of you will appreciate. The cast is made up of some of Canada’s most respected actors, Genie and Gemini nominated performers, including Peter Stebbings (Immortals).
Jack and Liz are struggling to keep their family together. While the big city trembles under the terror of a serial killer, Jack and Liz have just moved to the small summering community of Hemlock Lake hoping it will make a difference in their relationship. Unfortunately it’s not the quiet town they were hoping for. As the sun sets on the rural lakeside town, Jack, Liz, and their little girl Angie become prey to a mysterious local intent on ripping them apart…
