NBC’s Hannibal is currently moving along at a very steady pace, with its 13-episodes planned I guess they really ought to hunt out a director for the pilot episode, and it turns out they have.
According to Deadline, David Slade (30 Days of Night, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) is set to direct the pilot episode of Gaumont International Television’s Hannibal.
The series has been green-lit to produce 13-episodes which is written and executive produced by Bryan Fuller and executive produced by Martha DeLaurentiis.
Hannibal is “is described as a contemporary thriller featuring the classic characters from Thomas Harris’ novel Red Dragon – FBI agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and his mentor Dr. Hannibal Lecter — who are re-introduced at the beginning of their budding relationship.”
