Hornswoggle Cast In WWE’s Leprechaun Remake

Chris Savage

We all knew it. It was basically a matter of time. As soon as the news was heard that WWE and Lionsgate was remaking the Leprechaun, the first name to come to mind was the WWE star Hornswoggle (Dylan Postl), and now it looks as if it is official.

Hornswoggle recently tweeted this to his fans:

“The #swogglesecret that I’ve been hinting at all week is that in March 2013 I will be starring in Leprechaun:Origins by WWE Studios!!!”

What do you guys think about the casting?

We need to get a boycott of this entire idea. Who is the idiot at Lionsgate that thought this was a good idea?  I’m not completely against a remake but having WWE Studios do it seems beyond moronic.

They did a brilliant job with See No Evil, it seems the only film genre they can do is horror, so I’m really looking froward to this.

are you kidding, the condemned was the best movie wwe put out.. see no evil was pretty good as well only because kane was in it.. but im sorry no warwick davis means even the two in the hood movies will shine brighter than this..

okay, trading one midget for another. why not just have a really good actor play the part and shrink him down to size? Or maybe give it the Ray Harryhausen treatment and use stop motion? Or comb the side/freak shows around the world and find a really creepy dude like the one from “Shadow” (man he was creepy) and make everyone else bigger…

if you just get another tiny dude with the same dopey body shape and subpar acting skills, why reboot?  you’d be much better off with a giant Leprechaun, or a leprechaun made out of fruit salad. dumb ideas are dumb.

If only this was a joke… As a die hard Leprechaun fan I just want to sh*t on this whole film, Warwick Davis was the only reason to watch the other films having this terrible wrestler remake one of the greatest cult horror franchises is full of just bad. Before WWE decides to make these movies they should worry about making what they are known for watchable.
