Joel Kinnaman Says, RoboCop Will Be ‘More Human’

Chris Savage

How about some more RoboCop remake details to brighten up your day? While everyone may not be on-board and even I’m a die-hard fan of the original, I can’t help but wonder what sights they have in-store for us. Well, Joel Kinnaman has unleashed a little more information on his role as the cyborg cop.

While speaking with MTV, Joel Kinnaman sais:

“‘RoboCop’ is going to be a lot more human. The first movie is one of my favorite movies. I love it. Of course, Verhoeven has that very special tone, and it’s not going to have that tone. It’s a re-imagination of it. There’s a lot of stuff from the original… It’s not going to be jaw action. They’re still working on the suit and how it’s going to look, but the visor is going to be see-through. You’re going to see his eyes.”

Kinnaman also mentioned that the remake will be a much better acting piece and that it will also have political satire too.

So there you have it, look for RoboCop on theatres on August 9th, 2013.
