Danny Trejo & More Cast in Dead in TombstoneLooking for some more revenge themed horror flicks? How about one that also deals with the devil? Yep, dodgy dealings very rarely work out well, but perhaps this time the deal with the devil won’t bite them in the butt.

According to B-D, Dina Meyer (Saw, Piranha 3D), Anthony Michael Hall (The Breakfast Club, The Dark Knight, Weird Science), Danny Trejo (Machete, Predators) and Mickey Rourke (Sin City) are all set to star in Roel Reine’s Dead in Tombstone.

In the film “”Trejo plays Guerrero Hernandez, the unquestioned leader of the Blackwater Gang of outlaws. But after freeing his half-brother Red (Hall) from prison, Guerrero’s plan to loot the mining town of Edendale backfires spectacularly — because Guerrero is shot to death by his own brother, the treacherous Red. After making a deal with the Devil (Rourke), Guerrero comes back from the dead a year later, to seek his revenge, and the town (which has been renamed Tombstone) will soon have its dusty streets running knee- deep in a river of blood…

The film is currently filming in Bucharest, Romania with Universal 1440 Productions producing the feature.

This sounds … moist. A nice violent, bloody horror movie with decent actors for a change. Who says a shitty economy is bad for everything? lol … I’ve noticed that since the fees for good actors has fallen from ridiculous levels to a more affordable realistic place, it has also opened up the horror genre to actors that would never do horror because of the stigma attached to it (which in the past was shitty pay)… sounds like a pretty eclectic matchup acting wise, and Mickey Rourke usually ups everyone’s game he is in a scene with so, cool shit.
Keep us posted on this one.
