According to Deadline, Mel Gibson is in serious discussions to play a supporting role Robert Rodriguez’s sequel Machete Kills.
Danny Trejo will once again be reprising his role as the blade-wielding former Federate, Machete.
“In the sequel, Machete is drafted by the U.S. government to track an arms dealer through Mexico before he can launch a rocket.”
The sequel will be released via Fox.
