Ti West Set To Adapt Ben H. Winters’ Bedbugs

Ti West is quickly becoming a household name after unleash a few gems in the genre, of course, not to everyone’s taste, but you can’t deny he has left his mark. Next up his sleeve is something that will get right up under your skin.

According to Deadline, the new production shingle Tango Pictures, has acquired the rights to  Ben H. Winters’ best-selling horror novel Bedbugs, and they have set Ti West to pen the script.

“Bedbugs is a tale of urban paranoia set in Brooklyn that follows the Wendt family as they move in to a new home and suddenly start to encounter strange occurrences. Susan Wendt begins suffering what she suspects are bedbug bites, but she’s the only one getting bitten and suddenly fears she may be going crazy. That’s until she’s confronted with a more menacing explanation for the strange things happening to her and the family.”

This one sounds as if its right up West’s alley, after his tremendous House of the Devil, I believe he could really create something eerie for the screen. Fingers crossed this turns out well.
