Well guys, it isn’t a remake, but there is a TV series on the horizon which is based upon William Peter Blatty’s best seller, The Exorcist. Read on for all the details on this one.
According to Vulture, Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene) is currently adapting The Exorcist into a ten-episode television series which will be produced by Roy Lee (The Departed, The Ring).
Unlike the original 1973 flick, the TV series is said to follow the events leading up to the demonic possession and the after-effects of how a family copes with it.
At this time the series won’t be shopped to networks until a couple of weeks, so stay tuned for an update on that in the near future. What do you guys say about a TV series based on The Exorcist?
