With Shaun Robert Smith’s WW2 horror flick The 4th Reich set to film later this month, we have word of yet another actor cast in the upcoming film, and so far this one is shaping up to be a great ride.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sean Bean has signed on to star in the film, he will be joined by the previously announced cast of Tom Savini, Sean Pertwee, and Craig Conway.
Bean is said to play a charismatic British sergeant in the upcoming flick.
“The script details the story of a brigade of British soldiers sent into occupied mainland Europe who find themselves up against an enemy created by Nazi scientists as an all-powerful fighting force for what would be the 4th Reich.”
Executive producer Michael J. Bassett, who directed the upcoming flick Silent Hill: Revelations 3D, negotiated the deal with Bean to climb aboard. Sean Bean can also be seen in Bassett’s Silent Hill sequel.
