Looks like he just keeps the hits coming! I'm not big on "history" type horror films but I would check this out!

Having the possessions left by the original family still be there (and hopefully play a major role in the scares in this version too) would be a really nice homage! :D Actually looking forward to seeing this, if the premise and synopsis proves to be executed well enough!

Its a good list, dont get me wrong, and I agree with all on there, my point (badly made, sorry) was that there are many good Aussie movies which would be enjoyed by international audiences and therefore the list could have been longer. I enjoyed Snowtown, not only for the content but for the fact this mainly happened in the same suburb I lived, just thought no.1 was high. I would love to see part 2.

The first one wasn't the best horror movie I have ever seen, but it was entertaining enough. I'll definitely be checking this one out.

if you go to some of the webisodes it kinda tells the tale of a few characters and how they got to the start of the series. personally i think not only for me being a huge fan but for the potential to bring in new fans to the first episodes (selling more dvd's and more subscriptions to netflix and other means of watching the original episodes) doing a story about most if not all of the original characters before the apocalypse and how they got to where they were when the series started could be a great thing if done right not only for the current fans but bringing in new fans (especially before a new season starts) would boost even more revenue for everyone involved.......
