This week I was sent the trailer for a new apocalyptic web series called The Silent City and I can honestly say I am incredibly impressed. It was actually crowdfunded by KickStarter but you would never know it from the quality of the final trailer.
The series has elements of Omega Man and Mad Max and looks like if they can maintain the production values of the trailer that this will be the must see horror series for the year. Shot in actual abandoned areas of New York City is it the story of an unexplained event that decimates the human race and the survivors who must fight for their lives in the ruins of civilization.
