Samuel L. Jackson Cast in RoboCop

I may not like the fact that RoboCop is getting the remake treatment, but there is simply no denying the caliber of talent involved in Jose Padilha’s RoboCop reboot for MGM, today we have word of even more top-draw talent.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Samuel L. Jackson (pictured right) has joined the RoboCop remake where he will play “Pat Novak, a charismatic media mogul and a powerful force in the Robocop world.”

He joins the previously announced cast of  Joel Kinnaman, who plays the cop Alex Murphy and Gary Oldman, RoboCop’s scientific creator.

Look for this one in theatres on August 9, 2013.
