Impressive First Trailer for Korean Anthology ‘Horror Stories’

I love me some horror anthologies and I’m sure you do to. They provide quick and sometimes terrifying stories which leave you wanting more, and South Korean’s latest flick, Horror Stories, looks set to bring the spooky as this first trailer is freakin’ impressive.

Horror Stories begins with a woman kidnapped by a serial killer, and in order to survive she must tell the scariest stories. Following this we are introduced to four short stories which consist of:

Sun and Moon (“Haewa Dal”)

Synopsis: “A suspicious delivery man knocks on the door where a young brother and sister wait for their mom. The young brother and sister try not to open the door.”

Directed by Jung Bum-Sik and starring Kim Hyun-Soo, No Kang-Mina and Mi Ran.

Fear Plane (“Kongpo Bihaenggi”)

Synopsis: “A flight attendant faces a serial killer alone, while the airplane is flying at an altitude of 30,000 meters.”

Directed by Lim Dae-Woong and starring Choi Yoon-Young – flight attendant and Jin Tae-Hyun – serial killer.


Synopsis: “Revolves around half brother and sister, stepmother and a rich family. Kong-Ji was born to be beautiful and Park-Ji became beautiful after having plastic surgery.”

Directed by Hong Ji-Young and starring Nam Bo-Ra, Jung Eun-Chae, Bae Soo-Bin and Na Young-Hee.


Synopsis: “City is plagued by a virus. 5 survivors get on an ambulance, but one of those 5 survivors is infected with the fatal virus.”

Directed by Kim Gok and Kim Sun & starring Kim Ji-Young, Kim Ye-Won, Jo Han-Cheol and Park Jae-Woong.

The film will have its world premiere at this years Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival on July 19th and then it will be released in Korean on July 26th.
