Just a few weeks back we announced that Jena Malone was in talks to play the role of Johanna Mason in Francis Lawrence’s Catching Fire. Today the official word has come in, read on for the details.
According to Variety, Jena Malone (pictured right) has been cast in Lionsgate’s Catching Fire as Johanna Mason, a past victor of the Hunger Games.
Malone joins the previously announced cast of Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, and Woody Harrelson.
Look for the upcoming sequel in theatres on November 22, 2013.
