Laurence Fishburne to Star in NBC’s Hannibal?

Here we have yet more possible casting news for NBC’s upcoming TV series Hannibal, which could see Laurence Fishburne play a very pivotal role. Head on down below for all the details.

According to TVLine, Fishburne is circling the pivotal role of Jack Crawford, the agent-in-charge at the Behavioral Science Unit of the FBI who is tasked with tracking down a certain flesh-eating serial killer.

The role of Jack Crawford has been played Dennis Farina in 1986’s Manhunter, Scott Glenn in 1991′s Silence of the Lambs, and Harvey Keitel in 2002′s Red Dragon. So it will be very interesting to see how Fishburne plays the part if indeed he does climb aboard.

Hannibal also stars  FBI agent Will Graham (played by Hugh Dancy) and his mentor Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen), Bryan Fuller wrote and executive produced the series.
