Len Wiseman to Direct the New Sleepy Hollow Series

Yep, the infamous headless horseman is making yet another return with a new adaptation set for a run as a TV series this time. You just can’t keep this guy down, chop off his head and he comes back at full force, what a guy.

According to Deadline, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are writing the script which will see Len Wiseman directing. The new project is from 20th Century Fox TV and Kurtzman and Orci’s studio-based K/O Paper Products.

The series “is a modern–day supernatural thriller based on the legend of Sleepy Hollow. It follows Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s local female sheriff to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil.”

I have to say, I am a sucker for this tale, but I’m just unsure how well it will serve on TV, time will definitely tell on this one. What do you guys think?
