I Spit On Your Grave 2 Is Officially On

Chris Savage 7 Comments Movie Page: I Spit on Your Grave 2 (2013)

I Spit On Your Grave 2 Is Officially OnNow I’m not sure about you guys, but I really enjoyed Steven R. Monroe’s remake of Meir Zarchi’s 1978 flick I Spit On Your Grave (Day of the Woman). As far as remakes goes, it was one of the very few that is as good as the original.

As much as I liked the remake I just don’t see how a sequel could be possible or even warranted. Well, it appears as if a sequel to Monroe’s remake is officially on as B-D is reporting that Saw IV and Chain Letter writer Thomas Fenton has officially signed on to pen the sequel.

At this time it is unknown if Sarah Butler will reprise her role or if Steven R. Monroe will once again direct, but as always, we will keep you guys updated.

So what do you guys say? Will you watch a sequel to I Spit On Your Grave?

I always thought it would be neat to see how they do it. I had a story idea one time for fun (in my head lol) and I think it could be cool depending on how they do it. Hopefully it’s not just the same story with different characters.

Could be the girl is just really unlucky and this happens to her frequently. That way you could keep making sequels indefinitely.

The remake was an awesome and BRUTAL film! The rape scenes were tough to watch, but the second half of the film made it all worth it! Sarah Butler was dead on a BOTH the victim and the monster her attackers transformed her into!
